Crocus Hill
Anguilla's highest point at 213 feet (65 m) Crocus Hill is the
perfect place to get those holiday photographs. The Crocus Hill
area is home to many popular tourist accommodations due to its
breathtaking views over the Caribbean Sea and the rest of Anguilla.
But besides coming up here to admire the views, Crocus Hill is also
the site of the ruins of the old court house, though nowadays all
that remains are the crumbling walls of a few of the basement jail
cells.

Language
English is the official language in Anguilla.
Money
The East Caribbean dollar (XCD) is the official currency of
Anguilla, although US dollars are widely accepted, with prices on
menus etc. generally quoted in American dollars. The East Caribbean
dollar is fixed to the US dollar at US$1 = EC$2.68. There are
several ATMs throughout the island and one at the airport. Credit
cards and travellers cheques are accepted at most
establishments.
