Airport facilities include an information desk, bureaux de
change and telephones. There are also shops and a bar and
restaurant, as well as taxi, bus and car rental facilities.
Language
English is the official language, but many of the locals
speak Vincentian Creole.
Money
St. Vincent and the Grenadines' currency is the Eastern
Caribbean Dollar (EC$), a regional currency shared among members of
the Eastern Caribbean Currency Union (ECCU). The US dollar is
accepted in most hotels and some shops, and major credit cards are
also widely accepted. Banking hours are from 8am to 3pm on Monday
to Thursday, and till 5pm on Fridays. There are also ATM machines
available.
