The hotel is located immediately behind the Gare de Lyon railway station, in a central location close to the Bastille. There is very good public transport near the hotel.The rooms are medium in size and in very good condition. Renovated recently they are clean and bright with complimentary Wi-Fi, flat-screen satellite TV, minibar, safe, air conditioning, duvet and tea and coffee making facilities. Bathroom with tub, hairdryer and welcome products.Breakfast is served on the "Mezzanine.The building is a mixture of modern and contemporary styles. It is noted for a high clock tower, reminiscent of "Big Ben" in London.The lobby is large and modern, with many seating areas scattered beneath high glazed windows. The decor is bright and welcoming, with impressive green and white marble floors and mirrored columns. There is a charming boutique at the rear of the lobby and a large stair case leading to the mezzanine.Hotel Mercure Paris Gare De Lyon is located right next to train and Metro connections at the Gare de Lyon. It offers rooms with free Wi-Fi.The city tax is not included and has to be paid at the hotel.
