Taxi services are available outside the arrivals hall. The
journey to the city centre costs between EUR15 and EUR25 and will
take 20 to 40 minutes depending on traffic conditions. Shared taxis
are available which can reduce the cost.
Parking comprises 4500 spaces. Short-term parking charges are
EUR0.90 every 15 minutes, with a maximum daily charge of EUR26,
while P1 and P2 charge EUR3.80 for 1 hour, EUR6 for 2 hours, EUR11
for 6 hours, EUR21 for 12 hours and EUR28 for 24 hours. PR1 and PRA
offer slightly cheaper rates, with a maximum daily charge of
EUR22.
Car rental companies at Linate Airport include Avis, EasyCar,
Europcar, Hertz, Maggiore/National, Sixt and Thrifty, all of which
have desks in the arrivals section.
Taxi: Taxis are available outside arrivals. Journey time to the
city is 15-20 minutes and costs around EUR20; agree to a price
before alighting.
Bus: Bus number 73 runs from Linate Airport to Milan Piazza S.
Babila every 10 minutes, between 6:05am and 12:55am, and at a cost
of EUR1 per ticket. Alternatively, there is a bus that travels to
Milan Central Station every 30 minutes between 6:05am and 11:45pm.
All buses departing from Linate Airport, including those travelling
to other destinations, depart from the area just outside
arrivals.

Luggage: There are left luggage and lost and found facilities on
the ground floor, as well as a baggage wrapping service at
check-in. Porters are on standby to assist with handling
luggage.
Conference and business: There is a business centre open to all
passengers on the ground floor. Club Sea's lounges offer exclusive
access to Internet, telephone, media and video stations to all Club
Sea members, while airlines provide executive lounges in domestic
and international departures areas.
Other facilities: Facilities include a pharmacy, first aid
station, hair salon, laundry and chapel.
Wi-fi: Wi-fi is available in the arrivals lounge, check-in and
boarding lounge, in addition to various restaurants and bars. To
gain access, users must have a subscription with any authorised
operator, or purchase access time via the instructions presented on
screen upon attempting to connect.
Information: An airport information desk is located on the first
floor in the departures area, while a tourist information desk is
situated on the ground floor in arrivals.
Shopping: With approximately 35 boutiques and shops, Linate
Airport offers a fair amount of shopping options for its visitors.
Popular fashion outlets include Boggi, Brooks Brothers, Calzedonia,
Carpisa, Gallo, Ingram and Intimissimi, while shops stocking
leather goods, gadgets and accessories include Mont Blanc,
Piquadro, Swatch, Tosca Blu, to name a few.
Food and Drink: Fifteen food and drink establishments offer a
tasty selection of authentic Italian meals, snacks, desserts,
coffees and wines. Venues include ACafè, Asia, Caviar House, Ciao,
espressamente illy, Panino Giusto, Pizza Chef, Puro Gusto, Spizzico
and the Wine and Food Restaurant. If you're in a rush, there is a
McDonald's at check-in.
The official language of Italy is Italian. English is
understood in the larger cities but not in the more remote parts of
the country.
The Euro (EUR) is the official currency, which is divided into
100 cents. Those arriving in Italy with foreign currency can obtain
Euros through any bank, ATM or bureaux de change. ATMs are
widespread. Travellers cheques can be exchanged with ease in the
large cities, not so in the smaller towns. Credit cards are
accepted in upmarket establishments and shops around the cities.
Banks are closed on weekends, but tend to have better rates than
casas de cambios.
Linate Airport has one large terminal building, with arrivals on
the ground floor and departures on the first floor; both of which
are accessible by foot.
