Friday, 6 October
Depart Ireland for Paris. On your first day in the city, become acquainted (or reacquainted) with its beauty. Stroll along the banks of the Seine, soaking in its antiquarian book stalls, stunning riverside architecture and magnificent bridges. Savour the sight of the illuminated Eiffel Tower after dark. Enjoy some good food and wine. This is what makes Paris special.
Saturday, 7 October
After breakfast, we depart on a half-day city tour. Come evening, your heart is sure to race when Ireland takes on Scotland at the Stade de France. We will all be shouting for Ireland as we fight to secure our place in the quarter-finals of Rugby World Cup 2023 in this highly anticipated showdown against Scotland.
Sunday, 8 October
After a leisurely morning, we set off for the beautiful beach destination of Biarritz, where we will spend the next 2 nights.
Monday, 9 October
A full day to soak up the late summer in Biarritz.
Tuesday, 10 October
After breakfast, a short drive through the wonderful countryside to Bordeaux, where we will spend the night three nights.
Wednesday, 11 October
After breakfast, enjoy a city tour of Bordeaux and discover the many connections between this city’s wine trade and the Irish.
Thursday, 12 October
A free day to enjoy Bordeaux at your own pace.
Friday , 13 October
Say goodbye to Bordeaux, as we take the TGV back to Paris for the eagerly anticipated quarter-final matches.
Saturday , 14 October
Enjoy Paris at your own pace and in the evening transfer to the stadium for the first of our quarter-final matches.
Sunday , 15 October
Enjoy Paris at your own pace and in the evening transfer to the stadium for the second of our quarter-final matches.
Monday , 16 October
We say goodbye to Paris as we head home.
