23 October
Your Rugby World Cup 2019™ adventure begins with an international flight from Dublin, Cork or Shannon. You will be flying with one of our preferred airline partners - Emirates, Cathay Pacific, British Airways and Finnair.
24 October
You will arrive in Tokyo in the morning, where you will be met by your English speaking guide and transferred to your 4* Hotel Tokyo. In the evening, we have a welcome meeting and group dinner included.
25 October
After breakfast, enjoy a morning city sightseeing and orientation tour of Tokyo. We will visit the impressive Tokyo Tower, offering fantastic views of this huge metropolis followed by a visit to Meihi Jingu Shrine and the fascinating Omotesando area.
26 October
Your morning is free to explore Tokyo. In the afternoon, we will transfer to the International Stadium Yokohama for the first semi-final match. Kick-off at is at 17.00.
27 October
A full free day at your leisure to explore Tokyo. Why not use your SUICA Travel Card to enjoy a spot of shopping at UNIQLO in Ginza or to visit one of the many Buddhist Temples scattered throughout the city. In the afternoon, we will transfer to the International Stadium Yokohama for the second semi-final match. Kick-off at is at 18.00.
28 October
After breakfast, we take the Shinkansen (Bullet-train) to Kyoto, where we will spend 2 nights experiencing the ancient capital of Japan. The city is brimming with Buddhist Temples, Imperial Palaces, Shinto shrines and traditional wooden houses. We will stay in Kyoto for 2 nights in a central 4* hotel.
29 October
Today is a full day of sightseeing in and around magnificent Kyoto, including visits to the awesome Arashiyama Bamboo Grove, Tenryuji Temple and Kinkakuji Temple, one of the most popular buildings in Japan.
30 October
After breakfast, we set off by coach to Osaka. Japan’s second largest city and a powerhouse of commerce and entertainment, Osaka will be our base for 2 nights. In the afternoon, enjoy a city tour, visiting Osaka Castle and Tsutenkaku Tower.
31 October
A full free day to explore Osaka at your own leisure.
1 November
After breakfast, we will fly back to Tokyo, where we will stay for the final 2 nights of the trip. In the afternoon, we will transfer to the stadium for the Bronze Final. Kick-off in the Tokyo Stadium is at 18.00.
2 November
A free day to explore Tokyo at your leisure. In the afternoon, we will transfer to the International Stadium Yokohama for the Final. Kick-off at is at 18.00.
3 November
It’s time to say Sayōnara to Japan as we transfer to the airport for our flight home.
4 November
Arrive back into Dublin, Cork or Shannon.
