Rugby World Cup 2019™, Japan 

20 September - 5 October, 2019


This 14 night tour includes:

-Intercontinental flights on Emirates, Finnair or another premier airline

-All airport, match and city transfers, including by Shinkansen / Bullet Train

20 September - Your Rugby World Cup 2019 adventure begins with an international flight from Dublin, Cork or Shannon. You will be flying with one of our preferred airline partners - Emirates, Cathay Pacific, British Airways and Finnair.


21 September - You will arrive in Tokyo in the morning, where you will be met by your English speaking guide and transferred to your 4* hotel Tokyo. In the evening, we have a welcome meeting and group dinner included. 


22 September - After breakfast, enjoy a morning city sightseeing and orientation tour of Tokyo, visiting the impressive Tokyo Tower, offering fantastic views of this huge metropolis followed by a visit to Meihi Jingu Shrine and the fascinating Omotesando area  In the afternoon, we will transfer to the stadium for our first match of the trip, Ireland v Scotland (19:45 Hrs).


23 September - A full free day at your leisure to explore Tokyo. Why not use your SUICA Travel Card to enjoy a spot of shopping at UNIQLO in Ginza or to visit one of of the many Buddhist Temples scattered throughout the city. 


24 September - A full free day at your leisure to explore Tokyo.  


25 September - After breakfast, we set off  for a fabulous sightseeing day to Mount Fuji and the stunning Hakone region. We will visit the Mount Fuji Visitor Centre high up at the 5th Station where the views are truly amazing. We then visit Lake Kawaguchi and Icchiku Kubota Kimono Museum for a full day of sightseeing, before heading back to our  hotel in Hakone.


26 September - After an early breakfast we head off for another fabulous sightseeing day in the Hakone region. We begin our tour with a boat excursion on the very scenic Lake Ashi followed by a trip on the Komagatake Ropeway cable car and visiting the Hakone Shrine before heading back to our hotel to end off a busy day.


27 September - After breakfast, we say goodbye to the beautiful Hakone area as we journey south along Sugura Bay to Hamamatsu and our hotel for the next 2 nights, The Crown Palais Hamamatsu.


28 September - After a morning at leisure, we transfer in the afternoon to the Shizuoka Stadium Ecopa for the match against Japan. After the match, we return to our hotel, The Crown Palais, Hamamatsu, approximately 30 minutes from the stadium.


29 September - After breakfast, we take the Shinkansen to Kyoto, where we will spend 2 nights experiencing the ancient capital of Japan. The city is brimming with Buddhist Temples, Imperial Palaces, Shinto shrines and traditional wooden houses. We will stay in Kyoto for 2 nights in the 4* Kyoto Hotel Okura or similar.


30 September - Today is a full day of sightseeing in and around magnificent Kyoto, including visits to the awesome Arashiyama Bamboo Grove, Tenryuji Temple and Kinkakuji Temple, one of the most popular buildings in Japan. 


01 October - After breakfast, we have a short coach transfer to Osaka, where we will stay for 3 nights.


02 October - After breakfast, we will enjoy tour of Oska and Kobe, taking in all the major sights, including  Dotonbori District, Osaka Castle, Mt Rokko Observatory and Kobe Chinatown.


03 October - A free day to enjoy, Osaka at your leisure. In the afternoon, we will transfer to to Ireland v Russia match in Kobe.


04 October - It’s time to say Sayōnara to Japan as we transfer to the airport for our flight home.


05 October - Arrive back into Dublin, Cork or Shannon.


The price per person sharing is €6,175 + flight tax


The payment terms are:

€1,500 per person due at the time of booking
The balance is due by 15 February
