Wednesday, 27 July

Depart Dublin on an Aer lingus flight at 06.00. After arrival into Pisa at 09.40, transfer by coach to your hotel in Montecatini, Tuscany, the 4* Hotel Ercolini and Savi. Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure. Why not take the train to explore Siena or Florence.

Thursday, 28 July - Bocelli performance

Take time out to relax and explore Tuscany at your own pace. In the late afternoon transfer to Lajatico for Andrea Bocelli's performance in the outside arena “Teatro del Silenzio”. The magical atmosphere of the natural theater, which was built for Bocelli and his yearly performance, will make the experience even more unforgettable. The theme of the 2022 operatic performance has not yet been announced. Maestro Bocelli holds this night close to his heart, so it should be spectacular after the hiatus of 2020 and 2021. The performance is more operatic and not his cross-over hits. After the performance transfer back to the hotel.

Transfer to Pisa airport for our flight with Ryanair back to Dublin. Depart Pisa at 13.50 and arrive into Dublin at 15.35

The Teatro del Silenzio, an open-air amphitheatre, of which Bocelli himself is president, is silent throughout the year and is brought to life by this special annual concert. In recent years the performance has featured the Italian Philharmonic Orchestra and internationally-acclaimed artists. The setting of the open-air theatre against the backdrop of the Tuscan hills makes the experience all the more unique.

The theme of the show changes every year, from a full opera to Bocelli performing his favourite arias, accompanied by some very special guest. It is always the Maestro himself that decides.
