Airport Taxis

There are taxis available outside the airport arrivals hall and the fare to the centre of Cork is about EUR15.

Car Parking

There is short and long-term parking available in multi-level car parks, with fees ranging from EUR2.50 per hour to EUR9.50 per day. The long-term lots are serviced by a free shuttle to the terminal.

Car Rental

Car rental companies operating from the arrivals hall in the airport include Avis, Budget, Hertz, Europcar, Irish Car Rentals, Alamo, National and Thrifty.

City Transfers

A Skylink shuttle leaves to Cork city from the airport every half hour. There are also city buses that depart from the airport to the city. There are also taxis and rental cars available at the airport, and it takes about 25 minutes to reach the city centre.

Facilities

The information counter is in the arrivals hall, between the car rental counters and the Londis shop. There are ATMs, a bank and Bureau de Change at the airport, as well as a VIP lounges. There is also a sports bar with big-screen TVs, a Starbucks café and a Subway Sandwich outlet at the airport.

Language

English, Irish (Gaelic) is spoken in some Western areas.

Money

The unit of currency is the Euro (EUR). Currency can be exchanged at banks and bureaux de change and ATMs are widely available. Credit and debit cards, as well as travellers cheques, are widely accepted.
